I dropped the ball on updating setlists for the last week-and-change.  Instead, here’s a list of other songs/versions thereof which have bobbed up to the surface for air: Bastard, Dust*, It Swell*, Untitled* – *Trixie Whitley on Drums

From Dec 20-22 I hung out in Paris with Mark Guiliana’s Beat Music  (Mike Severson/Gtr, Tim Lefebvre/Bass) and some other friends & family, including our old partner in crime Neal Persiani.  Mark’s band was incredible.

Neal arrived on the metro from Bercy at around 9:30pm, having minutes before finished the last set on a giant world tour with Semi Precious Weapons – one that lasted 16 months!  He was ready for a drink.

That my first visit to the city of lights happened to coincide with Mark’s and Neal’s separate gigs, my cousin Pete’s short Paris vacation from a semester abroad in London, and some beautiful snowfall was a bigger holiday gift than I could have dreamed up.

I’m back in Ghent now.  The beat goes on this Thursday starting with a gig opening for Trixie at NTGent, one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen (in pictures anyway)…  Here’s a view from the stage:
